Bench Dedication: October 2, 2020 – Jamil Siddiqui

On October 2, 2020, the Anne Keneally Hynes Memorial Scholarship Committee was pleased to host a small group of Jamil Siddiqui’s family and friends to dedicate a bench on the Town Hall grounds recognizing Jamil as the 2019 Legends and Legacies of East Bridgewater honoree. Those who remember where the old EBHS was located will note that the bench faces the spot where Jamil’s room would have been. The location has the added benefit of offering a seat for those who want to watch baseball or soccer games. Because of coronavirus restrictions, the event had to be pared down from the traditional celebration. We have many people to thank!
